Cessna Gear Pump for 202

So my front hydraulic pump decided to pop a seal and spew hyd. fluid all over the front of my engine this evening rendering it inoperable right in the middle of my wife's round pen she rides horses in.....well she used to.....
Through research I've done it sounds like this happens as a result of the pump being worn out and fluid being able to pass by the bushings and down the shaft to a seal which is not meant to handle that kind of pressure.
Long story short, I know there is no rebuilding it, just need to find a suitable replacement now. Orig. part number is 704165M91 (MF) and from what I can determine the Cessna number is 20644. All I really want to know is which direction is this pump designed to turn........I guess I could spin my engine over now that the pump is removed and figure it out myself but that would mean a trip outside. Anyone know if it's CW or CCW?

Well, you up must be outside by now.. is it still cold there? got cold again here. Clockwise as you look at it, but I think is is a co incidence of nature that whatever pump you get will work, as far as the shaft? spline? question on TT, if you aren't handy with this sort of thing, any machine shops near you? Or a talented welder? Needs to be done on a lathe, but using the ends that you need of the two shafts welded together- dead straight. That's were the lathe and talent comes in.... Lyle's got talent, I got a lathe, but we aren't going to your house anytime soon...

Keyed shaft.........CW as you are facing the front of the tractor right? CCW as the pump shaft meets the crankshaft of the engine.........riiiight??? So does that make the pump CW or CCW.......I'm so confused!
I'm not so much worried about getting things to mate up, I can either adapt or bring to my favorite machinist........and for.......probably more than the cost of a pump he can fix me up.

I don't know if you'd want it because as far as I can tell it's pretty worn out. All the shafts and bushings have excessive play and the inside where the gears rotate have scored the inside of the chamber pretty badly. Once I get a new pump I'll certainly send it to you if you want it. I can't really charge you anything for it, just shipping cost. Although I think I have found a suitable replacement for around $130 from Surplus Center which might interest you more.

I will email you some pictures later on today. I have it all disassembled so you can see some of the wear etc. Once I got it apart I decided that to even attempt a rebuild would likely not be worth it. For me a new pump is a much better option.

inno how many gallons per min are you putting on .
mine poped that seal , but she does not have cesna pump been changed .
its a cast iron pump , i changed the seal still going .

Yes, I'm working on the hydraulic pump not the power steering pump. It does have a power steering pump but it is not in use.
