Gas tank leaks at seam

Gas tank on MF40 leaks at seam. I think this has happened on more than one Massey, wondering what y'all have done to fix. I read that the epoxy repair kits like JB Weld are all melting due to ethanol mixed gas. One online post said the Permatex kit works ok with ethanol gas. Another post said just solder like copper pipe (of course after rinsing tank and filling with water).

Red coat? can't remember the name but this site
sells something similar for coating the tank I hear
it works very well specially on rusty tanks so it
should seal the seam

Red Kote is one of the products I read about. Here is a copy from an ad. They sell it at O'reilly's Auto Parts for 29.95 RED-KOTE® is an internal fuel tank liner designed to seal leaks and prevent further rusting. As a sealant, Red-Kote excels at sealing the often hundreds of pin-hole leaks that occur along seams or where straps wrap around the tank. Once in place, Red-Kote forms a very tough, flexible membrane that will never crack or flake as many competitive products do. Red-Kote will not plug lines or cause engine damage when used properly. Future rust will be prevented because condensation will not contact the metal. A partial list of additives that Red-Kote is resistant to includes ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, toluene, methyl tertiary butyl ether, isopropyl alcohol and tetraethyl lead. Red-Kote takes approximately eight hours to dry.

That's what it is Red Kote been meaning to try that stuff on a rusty tank i have I herd it will coat up to 3 tanks now just waiting for some more tanks to go bad.HAHA
