Auger for a 202 Massey

I'm thinking about an auger for my 202, don't know a darn thing about them. Would this one attach to my three point? This one is $500, about right? I also have a MF40 with backhoe and was told there are augers that attach to backhoes? How deep would I have to drill to put up a pole barn?

I don't know anything about the augers because I never had one, but a pole barns structural poles should be in the ground at least 3 feet.
We used telephone poles, coated the bottoms with tar and set them 6 feet down encased with cement in sonotubes. I doubt there going to move within the next 100 years lol. Though my family's pole barn is 35ft x 100ft. Odd size I guess but it was the only way to build it without it interfering with the fields

That is a 3 pt. auger. To put an auger on your backhoe, it would need to be hydraulic driven $$$. I think you'd want to go at least 4 ft. for a pole barn. They may have a minimum required depth in your county. Check with the county and also the suppliers of the building.
