A Thank You and a 202 Hyd. pump question

First of all I would like to thank Linster99 for removing and sending me the 3 pt. lift pump from his spare parts 202 Workbull. He is very easy to deal with and does an amazing job with the packing!!

Now for the question. Without knowing the exact condition of the pump, but knowing that it turns smoothly and that oil does get pumped out of the port when you turn it, what else should I be checking before installing it? Should I put it in and take my chances or rebuild before installing it?

PERSONAL EXPERIENCES TELL ME TO LEAVE NO STONES UNTURNED. OVERHAUL IT WHILE U CAN AND HAVE IT IN YOUR HANDS. ED.

That was kind of what I was thinking. I know this next question is really subject to opinion and experience but how far is far enough? Seems that if I buy a complete rebuild kit which I'm assuming will have everything I will need, we're looking at around $150 depending on which pump I have. Still much cheaper than a new pump. Are there any parts that are not included with the kits sold on this website that I might need?
