BLARG!!!!!! MF135UK

Ok so now i get the tractor finally back together, after replacing clutch, tightening up rear end, replacing oil pan gasket, adjusting valves, and totally redoing all the wiring along with looming it all. I put 5 gals of diesel in the transmission (to clean out the water and gunk) and she fires right up. So i let her idle for a min and take off to the compressor to fill up the front tires they are about flat. I drive around and it still does not feel like the multipower is working. I stop back at the garage, and shut her off. I see hydraulic fluid/diesel pouring out the flywheel housing. So I guess i'm back off to split her again................. I'm kinda hoping that for some reason its one of the hydraulic lines that runs through the top of the flywheel housing, but i really doubt it. Is there a way to shut off the aux pump from pumping, maybe that will help narrow it down.

I will keep that in mind. Its hard to look for leaks when everything is covered up. Hopefully I wont have to mess with it again for another 30 years, and hopefully by then, I will have kids to do it.

We have 4 masseys with multi-power and all of our leaks have been the sealing rings wearing grooves in the housings between pto shaft and input shaft. Multi-power on 2 tractors have been real expensive. The other 2 are original. We take our housings to our massey dealer and they replace what needs be and I reinstall.

Ours never leaked until i changed the clutch, it may have had a slow leak that was covered up by the engine oil leaking into the clutch housing. I know diesel is much thinner so i'm sure it can get by seals a lot easier, especially when the hydraulic fluid is mixed with water into a pastey soup.

It seems like it goes away when i hold down the clutch. I think its the line going to the oil cooler. Does someone make an adapter that will allow you to run the aux pump off of a drill so you can test for leaks. Or will it hurt anything if i run about 100psi (probably could go with less) of air through the lines to see if i'm getting any leakage? When i have looked up in the housing in the past, i dont ever recall being able to see much besides the clutch and throw out bearing.

Hello,
Pressing the clutch pedal fully will stop the aux pump working. It is possible to drive the Ferguson and aux pumps by attaching a drive to the PTO shaft if you do not have IPTO. Another tractor would be a good source of power but you will need to change direction.(Jam the clutch pedal down or you'll be turning the engine as well!! If you should have access to an early Kubota compact, some of these had a PTO which turned in the opposite direction.
As Masseynut has suggested, the first step is to remove the inspection plate and look for the leak.

Ok, so i took a look. I couldnt tell where it was leaking. But there is quite a mess of diesel and hydraulic fluid. I will get it apart maybe tomm and see. I think its comeing from some where above the clutch. It didnt seem to start leaking until i let my foot off the clutch then about 10 seconds later it would start leaking.
