1/16 IH 766

I am looking for a 1/16 IH 766 wide front end as a gift. Having trouble finding one.. is this a model that I need to buy decals for and instead "make" one? What model is the equivalent body style of the 766 if this is the case? Thank you.

Unless they built one in the last year, a 766 was never built.

So if you want to get some decals start with a 966 and switch the decals.

That will be the closest you will get to a tractor that looks like a 766.

I thought one of the 66 series collector editions Ertl made in the early 90's was a 766. I'm thinking it had a canopy on it.

I think Scale Models may have made a narrow front 766.

Otherwise you will have to get a 966 and redecal it as a 766.

tractorguy you are right.

My first thoughts were I never saw a 766 so none must have been made.

I decided to check things out more and found Scale Models did make a 766 in 2008.

Black stripe verion.

No canopy though
