Been looking for a toy JD styled A for awhile now but I've got no idea where to begin looking again. Any advice?

Ertl made two. One is early 40's hand crank and the other is early 50's. Check ebay,
outbacktoystore.com,agfarmtoys.com,bossenimp.com,3000toys.com

About what would the one from the 40s be worth? I'm seeing old worn down ones for what seems like ridiculous prices

Here is mine. I bought it in 2009. I paid $22.00.It is a hand cranker. It says 1939 on the box. I know Ertl made a
mistake and put some of their late model A toys in the 39
box.

I see a bunch of dinged up ones on eBay for upwards of $150, so I was curious. I don't actually want one to have as a collectors toy, so the dinged up ones would be great but I think they're overpriced!!

Those have to be originals from the 40's -50's to be at that price.

The ones I'm talking about were made in the 20 years.

You should be able to buy there for $25 each if you watch.
