I agree with Stan, I have either a 120 or 130, and would not think of taking $100 for it.

David,

It is for sure a 130, as there was not a 120. As said before the 130 was patterned after the 630/730 in the late '50s. Got a picture of it?

Did it come from the JD store on 16th Avenue in CR? Or the store in Coggon?

It was purchased in Oelwein about 1962 used, I have the pull wagon with fenders to go with it. I do not remember anything, but my dad told me the story. We were waiting in line to purchase a new one, and an older gentleman was sitting there, and said he had a used one. I guess we left and bought that one. I ran the tires off it, I will post some pictures of it in use, and the restoration process.

I am planning a full restore on it this year.

I just remembered the name of the JD store in CR - Schwitters

Don't know how original you want to restore it to, but if you need rear wheels, be sure and get what they call "star" wheels. Also, if you need any really expert advice or want to have him do it for you, call Roger Inman at 319-472-4128. He has a Vinton address, but lives west of Shellsburg. Roger and I go back to Army Reserve days in the early '60s.
