New to this.

I bought a few toy tractors and then ......it got out of hand.
I am looking for implements to go with them. My searches turn up very little. What are your favorite places to buy toys?

It can be very addicting.

ebay always has a good number of implements in their farm toys section.

outbacktoystore.com is a good place to look.

I should have asked for a recommendation on toy shows also. I see there is one coming up in St. Louis which is close enough for me.

If that's the Gateway Farm Toy Show you're talking about, by all means go to it.

Been to it a few times maybe 10 years ago, and it's a dandy.

Be sure to haggle on prices!

gary; sure would like to have the oliver picker outfit. i am south you i think near mt pleasant ia . unable to attend. rick

I would also recommend the Pony Express Toy Show that is in St. Joseph, MO this Saturday Jan 17th. Its from 9am to 3pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall in St. Joseph. Call 816-244-4036 for more details.
Hope this helps, thanks.

If you want I can watch or bid on it for you.

Yes you are south of me. I have friends from Mt Pleasant.

I am NW of Iowa City.

you have a quess on what bring i don't have clue but it lookslike one dad used to run and i would ride in the back of wagon. i am in process of trying to get dads 1850 oliver back that he originally bought new,i got it found and owner is willing to give it back if i find another similiar unit to replace it.with. i tried to buy it from him originally but he would not sell to me. HE words were what h?ll you want for

I am going to guess that picker w/ tractor will bring in the $100 range. I believe that is a custom built picker not factory. Now if that is a factory picker it will be over $200.

Thanks for the advice. I plan on going to the Gateway show in St. Louis. Trying to keep the toys to the ones I farmed with, some odd ones have slipped in. I am looking for 1/16 scale implements mostly. I bought this JD oneway with the intentions of making it into an Oliver. Bought the decals, paint and everything but couldn't bring myself to alter the mans work. So I bought the JD 5020 to go with it. I plan on making another oneway to match this one and hook them together.

Ends up that was a New Idea picker on the 880 Oliver.

It brought $175. Thought it might bring more when I saw that it was a NI picker.
