Is this a reproduction? I assume it is as rare as those were. I just saw it on CL in an a dealer ad for a bunch of toys. This was just one of the pictures in the ad. I remember Dad taking me and my older brother to the dealer in about 61 or 62. Our birthdays are just six days apart. He let us pick out what we wanted. I got a 3010 and he got a 440 crawler. From what I remember,we got them right off the shelf and neither one had a box. Yes,I have his 440 here on a shelf with the rest of my toys.

Well, it's not really called a reproduction. It was made in the late 1990's with all new tooling with better detail, metal tracks. It would be referred to as a shelf model or a collector's edition.
Ertl made a ton of crawler toys in the mid to late 90's.

To be a reproduction. It needs to be made from the original tooling or made to look like the original toy.

OK,but it's not an original like the one I have here.
That's what went wrong with the hoby. All of this new crap.
