Looking for a Ford 9000 1/16 (or 1/12?) toy tractor. Proving to be quite rare - I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions where to look or if anyone may be interested in selling? Thanks!

I looked in Dick's Farm Toy Price Guide and only found one 9000 listed. It is 1/16, built by Scale Models for the Summer 2011 Show.

Excellent condition - $22, NIB - $44.

Good luck finding one.

Ertl made a 9000 back in the 70's. It is 1/12 scale has a cab and dual rear wheels.

it was the same casting as the 8000. the 8000 has single wheels and is open station.

You can get 9000 decals. put them on an 8000.

I'm not doubting your statement about the 1/12 9000, but I'm curious about where you got your info.

In Dick's price guide, I see a 9600 and a 9700 in 1/12.

Just curious,

Stan

I see now I didn't look close enough. David Reeds book FORD FARM TOYS shows a 9000 with cab and duals. I didn't read the caption underneath. it says the author added the 9000 decals. it must have been a 9600.

Well, why not? Ertl's first version of the JD 620 (no 3 point, light on back of seat), when first produced, was a 60 with 620 decals placed right over the John Deere on the sides of the hoods.
