Pedal Tractor Loader

I am looking to buy a Ertl pedal tractor loader. The one I found is a John Deere. Does anyone know if the loader will fit other tractors or just John Deere. Is there a modelthat it will only fit on?

I am willing to bet that loader came off a model that was built with a loader. Or a custom made loader not manufactured.

I don"t believe anyone ever built a loader to fit all models or to add to any model for that matter.

I have a Cub Cadet pedal with a loader that will come off the tractor. That loader will not fit on any other model than the cub that was molded for it.

it should fit on the Ertl john deere pedals from the late 90's up to but not including the pressed steel pedals. mainly any deere pedal from the 8000 and 9000 series and R series. it may fit on case models of that size but a case loader was made in black by ertl.
 
It is on Ebay. Ertl loader for John Deere pedal tractor loader. There is a new listing for the same loader but black not green.
 
Boy does that take me back. The toys that get recalled these days and what I played with,it's a wonder I'm alive.
We had an old Tractall with the chain drive gone from it. Dad welded a short piece of pipe to the bottom of it,then took some tube from an old bus seat and made a one arm loader for it. He used an old 5 tine manure fork for the bucket and made it tilt. We used baler twine to keep it tipped back and just tied it to the handle that we used to lift the loader. We just stuck a 16d nail through a hole to keep the whole thing in the short pipe on the tractor.
These days if you made something like that for a kid,they'd be taken away and put in foster care.
 
Todd, casetoyman is right. We picked up a broken JD8300 pedal tractor in Dyersville a few years ago to restore.(my kids restore pedal tractors as 4H projects) Originally it came with a loader. You will be disappointed in the quality of the plastic loader. I truly believe that they were not meant to be played with. I built one for ours that could be played with.
