What all does it need to be restored? Is it rusty, broke, or what? Were those painted? I can't remember. If it is just faded I would be inclined to leave it original. Gary |

| It's very rusted with most of the paint gone. Otherwise, it's in great shape. Seems to me it needs to be sand blasted and then repainted with the original paint colors. I think I read somewhere on this site or another that Case still has the color numbers for Old Abe. I know there is always the question as to restore or not to restore but in this situation I really think it would be better to restore. I could do it myself but really feel it should be done by a "professional"-someone who has experience with Old Abes. Would really appreciate any help finding a restorer. I can deliever it anywhere in the US. I live in PA. |

| | Find someone who restores toy tractors in your area. They can do it. Are you close to Iowa? I have a friend that does a very good job sandblasting and repainting toys. I can give more info if you would like, depending on shipping. Gary |
