Farm Implement News Tractor Field Book(s)

Hi

I am lucky to have inherited 3 tractor field books from my Dad when he passed away. I remember enjoying them as a kid!! I have a 1950, 1953 and 1955. I also have a Tractor Red Book from 1957.

I see some of both of these books on E-bay from time to time and have actually bought a 1966 Red Book off E-bay.

My question is: DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ACTUAL PUBLISHING YEARS OF EACH OF THESE PARTICULAR BOOKS ?

I see that many of the Red Books on E-bay go up into the 1980's but the Field Books; the latest one of these I know of is 1957. Did the Field Books cease to be published after the late 50's ? Were they taken over by Red Book ?? What was the first year of each of these books and what was the last year ?

Thanks for any replies.

-Ross.

I have 6 Tractor Field Books a 37,42, 47, 50, 54
and a 55. I believe in about 1956 they stopped putting pictures of tractors in them. I think
Red Book stop about time. The Tractor Field
Book was printed until maybe the late 90s.
I had all of the later ones but could not sell
so I gave them away so I do not know just when
they quit printing them.

I have some I&T Red Books from '76 to '94, so I
know they were published thru then. I know they
went back long before that also. Chuck

Apparently the Red Book was printed longer then
I thought it was. I have not seen any newer then
the 50s. The Red Book was not popular around here.
