John Deere Toy Dain tractors

Does anyone have any information on the Frank Hansen "Roller Chain" Dain cast toy tractors produced by Valu-Cast(as opposed to the Scale Model's plastic chain version listed in Dick's Farm Toy Price Guide)? There apparently were less than 50 produced and fewer still ever found their way into collector's hands. I have 3 of these in unfinished kit form and a friend has the remainder along with all the molds & blue prints, etc, but we can find very little information about them. If anyone can shed any light on this mystery we would be very greatful.
