I see where Mitch has posted on this forum quite frequently in the past. His home burnt to the ground a couple days ago. All the family escaped unharmed, but they lost just about everything. Details are on Toy Tractor Times site. Thoughts and prayers to Mitch and his family in a tough time. |

| MF Poor, if you are not a member, it won't let you in. Can you copy the article itself? Mitch is a good guy and hate to see this happen to him. |

| | Here's the original post. Later in the thread, there is some info that states all that was left was brick walls. Boys the Mitch Sisson family needs our prayers. Found out this afternoon, that Mitch and his family lost their house to a fire this morning. I talked to Mitch and asked if he cared if I shared with ya'll. He said he would be greatfull, for he didn't know if he could right now. He,his wife and two girls are a fine, fine, family who just lost everything. Mitch told me the fire also got the carport/shop where he did all his work. Please keep them in your prayers. |

| | Here's a later post copied and pasted. I just got back from going to take some things down to Mitch this afternoon. Went out to the house place and nothing but some brick walls and a fireplace were left. The folks that got there first were able to get his 78 F 250 out of the carport. His 1566 was sitting right beside the house and someone tried to pull it out of the way with a 2 wheel drive with no luck. About that time the firetruck got there and while the chain was still hooked to the tractor they pulled it ouf of the way as the house was too far gone. The battery on the left side of the tractor got hot enough it started to melt but that was the only damage. As Brick can testify, everyone in that area knows everyone and they have lots of family. When I left lots of folks were bringing in clothes and food to his Mother's house where they will be camped out for now. They were in good spirits but I know were running on pure shock mode, probably has sunk in more by now. |
