Can anyone tell me how I can find the value of a 1955 John Deere peddle tractor? It belonged to my husband and it is in pretty good shape. It's all original, but needs some work, like new tires and peddles, but has the original chain which works. It has the motor cut out, the sides are not solid. Thank you for your time.

Check ebay. Do an advanced search for "deere pedal" remember to check the search "title and description" box. They usually have several selling also check completed sales.

Sounds like you have a John Deere 60. The best farm toy price guide lists that particular one at about $450 in restorable condition. I'm sure that means that there are no broken castings, and new pedals and tires are pretty normal.

You may get other opinions, but I sure wouldn't give it away.
