Can anyone tell me where to get original style plug wires for a 1934 Model "A"? I currently have automotive stlye wires on it and they are not working right. Thanks.

JUNKMAN,
You might try Agri-Services, Alden,NY. PH. 716-937-6618. I've used them and Brillman and they both gave me excellant service and their products were excellant. Also who ever you use be sure to get wires with the fish hook ends. These are what came on the 1934 John Deere.

Why not go to a automotive parts house, ie, NAPA, and purchase solid wire core spark plug wire. Several replies, over time about this subject, stated not to use automotive carbon core, resistance wire on your old tractors.
Hope this helps.

Peter,

Solid wire core plug wire from an Auto Parts store will work fine. The difference in that and what we get from Brillman is that the stuff from the auto parts store will be a rubber coated outside (Much like the newer carbon core wires) The wires from Brillman will look like the original wires (braided outer jacket). For tractors that will be going to shows I prefer the original look that Brillman can supply, also Brillman has the old original style Rajah thrust type terminals available. (They look good but be carefull when you close you petcocks or they'll light you up!).
I'll post a link to Brillman's web page, I think he has pictures of most of his parts.

Junkman,

Try The Brillman Company in Pennsylvania. I have not ever used them but they are always advertising in Green Magazine. They specialize in wire sets.

Hope this helps, and if you use them, please let me know what their service is like. Or maybe someone else on the board can give a testimonial for them.

Doc,
I've made several purchases from Brillman, they have always been very helpful, quick service, and quality is second to none. I'd highly recommend any of their products.
