What is the simplest way to adjust the carburetor on my '41 Model B? I have got the idle and load needles so screwed up I cannot get it to stay running for more than about a minute before she shuts down. Where should I start? Turn both needles clockwise all the way down and then back off? How much? Write back in simple terms since I read slow. Thanks.
Don

I am thinking that if it is running at all that adjustment needles are close to being at the correct settings and since it is running about a minute. It sounds more that it may be running out of gas. I would check the needle valve assemble and the float level.

I don't have any specs with me, but turn them all the way in, then open each 2 1/2 turns. I think that would give you enough to get it running.

Then play with it from there!

Open idle needle one and a half turn off seat and the load needle one turn off seat.
