Anyone have any idea what size of tractor a JD 143 loader would fit? I'm not sure I have ever seen one with these numbers.

Phil:
I have a 143 loader on an 830 (3 cyl) utility. This loader fits the smaller utilities like Mike says. I bought mine new in 1977 with the 60" bucket and bolt in tangs. It is a nice little loader. The only problem I have had with it is bending the tangs when I try to do something that they were not intended to do. But I just take them off and straighten them. The bucket only has 1 cyl in the center for hyd dump. This cyl seems to be the weak point. I have bent the cyl shaft several time and straightened it and got it to work. I finally replaced it with 2 2" cylinders with larger shafts and have had no problem with them whatsoever. The 2 cyl.s require a little more oil than the 1 Cyl and this causes the bucket to dump a little slower.
My loader says made in Canada.
