I have to R&R O-rings in the steering valve does anyone have a trick for doing this? have heard of home made tool for the job anyone know what it looks like?

Just some thing to extend your curved o-ring pick, do them one at a time so you don't get mixed up in which groove to use,,it's an ornery job.

Thanks, got some picks tonight maybe tape one to a long screwdriver. Do you know, off the top of your head,if there is one at the very bottom of that boor.

There are 6 of them, and when you look down the bore it is like looking into mirrors, the oil openings can be mistaken for the O-ring groove, so be careful and do one at a time so you don't get confused.

I have a long set of picks (Blue point)that do the job for me. I also leave the column on the tractor so I have a place to sit. A
magnetic work light helps too. Like Tim says there are groove that don't take an o-ring Should have an o-ring, groove o-ring
groove in that sequence from the bottom up
