whats the difference between an MT and a 320S

other than the years of production and sheetmetal I dont see what the difference is between an MT and 320S ?

A 320S would be essentially a later version of the regular M, not the MT. Comparing the 320S to an M the main differences would be the three-point hitch instead of the proprietary integral hitch and a bit more engine speed to increase the power. Other than that there's not a lot of change. The MT had a completely different rear axle configuration for which there was no comparable 320 model. The 420T would be the direct descendant of the MT.

Lots of differences to the MT. The 40 and 320 are very close.
