JD M Oil Leak Question

I have a leak from the weep hole at the bell housing plate on my JD M. It depends on engine speed, but at high idle it is about a drop every 10-15 seconds. It will continue to leak some after it is shut off, and leaves a spot on the floor but eventually stops. Is there any way that this type of leak could be caused by the oil pan gasket? I have already replaced the rear main seal, and that did not resolve the issue. I would think if it was the oil pan gasket, it would leak continuously until the oil level fell far enough and then stop. Is the oil pan pressurized during running conditions? Thanks.

I have had the same leak on my John Deere M being caused from the rear crankshaft seal and from the oil pan gasket. Oil pan is not pressurized. I want to think that it is leaking from the rear crank shaft seal as it stops when you shut your tractor off.

I have also had an expansion plug leak too. this plug was for the cam.
 
Rear main seal is my guess. Make sure your oil is not over full. If the seals let go in the Touch O Matic pump it will add oil to the crankcase. The rear main seal leaking like you described is how I found out my TOM pump seals were failing and TOM oil was entering the crank case.
