industrial 2010 hydraulic system

Thanks for the help in figuring out what model I had , My next ?? is I have a Davis
backhoe ( open center hydraulics ) dose the 2010 have a closed center or open ? can I put
the Davis on it or dose it have to be closed ?? It had a hoe on it in the past so the oil
lines are still on it . Thanks Bryan
 
TxJim has it correct in that the JD 2010 is an open center system. I will add that one of the major weaknesses in a JD 2010 is the hydraulic system. I would not recommend running a backhoe attachment using the tractor's hydraulic system. Get a PTO pump style backhoe. That would be much better.

I will add that on the industrial tractor there was an additional auxiliary front mounted Cessna hydraulic pump to supply oil to loaders, hoes, forklifts, etc.

Whether or not this specific tractor still has it, that is yet to be determined.

Just like any thing else, they are subject to wear and seals that leak due to use and age.
