My boss asked me what I know about this model. He is in a position to purchase one for $20k. It is 2 wheel drive with a fel, rops, syncro and about 200 hours. I've never heard of one but I haven't paid much attention to current models. He said it is made in India. I told him I've heard that India produces some solid but old tech tractors but have no experience. What say you?

I bought a new 4 wheel one two years ago with fel. Use it for tedding, raking, loading manure, loading and hauling round bales. I've had no problems with it. It is a light tractor and the power is limited. However, it fits my needs and runs fine.

Let me add that boss owns a 2020 gas without fel. Perhaps he would be money ahead the find a loader for the 2020.

But they are still a pretty good tractor, for which a loader can easily be found.
Granted, 4wd loader is hard to beat, but I farmed for almost 40 years with a 2wd
loader....just put chains on in the winter.
Depends what the poster intends to do with it.

Look at the serial number tag, right front frame as I recall, to see where it's actually made. Some are made in India and sold in the US. They're also made in other places in the world. Agusta, GA makes most of the 5000's that are sold in the US. India made ones are probably as good as the US made ones, maybe a lower featured tractor, but really no less up-to-date. Agree with others, fel is at it's best with MFWD tractor.
