Power trol info

I'm 150 miles from the operators manual for my late A. I'm having a problem retracting the jd hyd. stop cylinder. The power trol has two adjustments on it. What is the base line adjustment for running a remote cylinder? If I remember right the bottom screw on the back is rate of drop for the rockshaft.
