Ok guys I bought me a 2950 cab tractor not to long ago, so far been a great running tractor no issues.
The tractor starts up when its cold good, my issue is when I run the tractor for couple of hours get it hot, if I cut it off it will not start back until it cools off or something.

any idea?

Have you tried a destroker on the front pump ? Is the “ground “ from the batteries bolted to sheet metal ? Or has it been relocated to a starter mounting bolt ? Are you holding the clutch pedal down while cranking ?

Starters on these tractors eat a lot of clutch dust, and will sometimes spin slow while hot. A good cleaning has done wonders on mine a time or two. Al.

I had a 2940 that was slow starting, i put a gear reduction starter on from DB Electrical, It was a completely differant starting tractor, it would spin over 2 or 3 times faster.
