hello, TIM S. i'm working with a 4455 p. shift ,, reverse is ok, 3 FORWARD pulls, 8 @ UP ARE OK, 1-2,slip bad, 4--7, slip bad.looks like 12&13 are also involved but i did not try those,, that points to C-3 clutch. this happened kinda overnite. at first i was thinking sealing rings on trans. output shaft, inside the C-3 clutch drum. i was looking at the TM there is a chance of a blown gasket in trans. control valve assy. or a blown packing behind the trans. control valve assy. the farmer is still using tractor for loading hay, etc. until this FALL. any thoughts.

C1 & C2 are normally the first ones to give trouble, your's needs a little more "Drive" testing to make a better call,,here is a chart,,print it off and take it with you on a drive test,,mark down the speeds in question then compare
them on the chart..
