Attended an auction recently where a 3020 utility was for sale (notice I did not say sold). Actually this tractor was to be sold with the 148 loader (not clear from presale advertisement since pictured separately) that obviously had been mounted on the tractor as the mounting brackets where still on the tractor. Both looked to be in nice shape and the tractor had several recent repairs noted prior to the sale like injection and hydraulic pump rebuilds. This tractor started and ran much better than the other two 3020's sitting next to it in line.

The bidding stopped at 6500 as the auctioneer announced he had an internet bid. In my mind that is the proverbial red flag waving and that did kill the bidding on this tractor. I expected that tractor to bring three times that much since the new gen tractors are supposed to be the collectors favorite now. Keep in mind I have attended and participated in green tractor auctions all over this country and now am a retired antique tractor guy with no more room to store anything.

Things to note from my experience: in over thirty years I have never seen a 3020 utility sell at auction, when the auctioneer announces he has an internet bid red flags wave, summer auctions usually have low sale prices and I could add more. What do you think ?

There is a gas powershift on fleabay for $6750 with trans issues for 3-4 months now and no takers.
Somewhat more rare than a diesel synchro. With the market softening up for 20 series now, I think $6500
would be fair for the tractor without the loader. Everybody is hunting 1972's, and even that market is
falling off

Should have been tickled to death at 65.
Course most folks think a 3020 is worth
much more than I do. Seems like they
usually bring 4020 prices or better and are
no where near it's performance. Add to that
their age and an oddball engine that can't
be replaced it boggles my mind.

Dan, I have a 45 loader Im trying to rebuild and put on a 49B that I restored. Need info on how to hook up hydraulic lines and controls. The loader as a hydraulic bucket.

Dan, You had sent me 45loader instructions and thanks, very helpful. Where can I find spool valves like ones in instructions?
Ebay has tons of valves but all dual acting. Since lower loader
cylinders are single acting can any dual spool valve be modified and still have one valve dual acting for bucket control?
