Brought home a '37 B today. Seems to be in fairly good shape, other than crack on bottom of radiator. Going to change fluids- do you guys use detergent or non defer gen oil and gear oil?

On the radiator, has anyone ever welded or braised a crack? How did it hold up? Thanks

I have my grand fathers 1935 JD-B. I run Valvoline 60W oil in the engine. But from what I understand if it has ever been rebuilt it would have been done some time in the 40 or 50s so it uses oil. As for the radiator it is likely to be cast so t take special thing to weld it and not have problems like heating it then welding it then heating and letting it cool slowly
