JD 4300 compact utility Brkes

I don't have any brakes on my 4300.I have pedal but won't stop the tractor. That is all three brake pedals the left,right, and master. Are they hydraulic brakes? I can't seem to find a master cylinder. Are they simple to adjust them? Thanks Howard

No I have not Jim. I guess I would need some help as to how to adjust it.Would I be adjusting just the linkage for the master (emergency) Brake pedal? How far to adjust it? Thanks Howard
 
Maybe you have them fixed by now?? Hope so. Here's what I found on mine. Brakes locked on. Pedals had little to no movement. I found both linkages rusted in place. The fixture on the side of the transmission case that moves to apply and release the internal brake would not move on either side. After disconnecting the linkage, PB Blaster and a cheater-bar got them both moving. Opinion= Lack of use and to tight of adjustment made for little to no travel of the assembly. Result=quit working and rusted up. Mine are now adjusted so there is adequate movement and I purposely exercise them. Good Luck!
