Friends of ours have a Gator that's been giving them problems, sometimes it won't start, does nothing when you turn the key, not even a click. I went over and looked at it and I turned the key to the start position and then wiggled the shifter, and it started. it seems that the neutral safety switch is the problem, or just worn linkage. There is a switch screwed into the top of the transmission right next to the shift lever that I assume is it, is that correct? My guess is it's worn linkage but maybe it could be adjusted to make it better. Any ideas?
