I have replaced both a couple of times. Used parts from this site and from local tractor joint. Works about a week then fails. Currently gauge seems to have some activity but never shows over 1/4 tank. I'm going to wear the tank holes out of i keep changing the senders and it's a pain since its mounted low and on the side of the tank. How do I get one that will live for awhile or what am I doing wrong?

Is the tank grounded? If there isn't already a ground wire from one of the sender screw so the chassis of the tractor, add one.
