When shifting between 4 and 5 and 2 or 3 and 7 to 8 there is more delay in engagement than the other gears is this normal?

Yes, if you are talking about an 8 speed powershift. It has to do with which clutch and brake packs are engaging/disengaging. There are more of these changes during those shifts than the others, so it will not feel quite as smooth or fast.

Ok thanks . I thought so but it?s been a long time since I?ve ran one of these . I know on the early 8000 series it was 4 to 5 and 12 to 13
