2510 weight

Anyone on here know about how much a gas 2510 weighs?

Mine has a wide front and there's no fluid in the rear tires. Tractor data says 6200, but I didnt know how accurate that was.

The fair pull is Monday and I'm wondering how many weights I need to round up. The lightest class is 8000lbs. Thanks!

Thanks! Guess she's around 6000 then. Looks like I'm going to need the wheel weights off the 720!

2510's are nice handy tractors, but the 720 might do better pulling in an 8000 pound class. A 202 cid diesel or 180 cid gas will struggle against engines with twice its displacement and horsepower.

I'd LOVE to pull my 720! That's all I do with that tractor and she runs pretty good. Usually pull up to 9500 non turbo classes with it no problem. Unfortunately, at this pull, tractors have to be 1965 model year or newer. They used to have an antique pull at the fair too, and the rule was if it was old enough to pull in that pull you couldn't pull it in the farmstock pull too. Made sense. Now they've dropped the antique pull. We've tried to get them to change the rule now, but no go. Only good thing is this is actually a farm stock pull. Farmers from all around the county drive their whole line up down. 90% of the tractors are farmed with. The heavier classes are a little hot, but the lightest class was mostly little ford utilities (small thousand series). Its my favorite pull of the year.

I'm going to put the 2510 on the dyno first and make sure she's putting out all 55hp. Low gear is pretty low. We'll see, haha.
