We had a 521 loader installed on a 2630, all Deere parts, had the joystick valve. I can't give you part/kit numbers, but they were available. The joystick operated cables which went to a valve box mounted on the side rail of the tractor, which I believe was fed by a power beyond kind of tap on the hydraulic supply line running to the rear of the tractor.

IMHO a 25 GPM has over twice the capacity needed for JD 2640 which would have 9-15 GPM hyd pump output. Valve with 25 GPM would offer very little feathering control of hyd functions on loader on a 2640.
