Spool Valves

Hi Guy's I am new to this forum and i need some advise.
I have a john deere 310a backhoe loader. the backhoe stabilizer has started leaking due to pitting in the area under the top seal. I found a dealer who has one but he is asking 1900.00 for the single valve. That's Crazy. so has anyone had this problem? I was thinking of changing the 6 spools to prince spools. has anyone done this? do you see any problems? I have spoken to someone at surplus center.com and they think it will work. Any ideas. Prince hyd valve should be fine as long as it's set up for closed-center hyd system.

You must have the part number?

Did you do a GOOGLE search and see if there are any others out there at a better price? Sure would be a lot less work just changing one section, IF the others are good, it would seem?
