jd 6320 heater/ac blower question

Blower stopped working. Have not started troubleshooting beyond checking fuse which was ok. Any ideas what the most likely culprit is? Tractor has 3500 hours. Couple years ago replaced a part near the blower not sure what it was without going back and looking it up. At that time blower would work only in a couple of settings but not all.

Yes. The thermal protection fuse inside the resistor pack could have blown. In some designs you can still have high speed though. Can't know the exact wiring of the discrete resistor pack from my couch but motors do not last forever, high chance of used up motor. I would change them both due to labor investment in changing just one twice.

Common symptom among starters and blower motors is that the too short and worn out bushes will often re-connect for a very short time to return operations temporarily. Banging on it with a hammer can also get them working for a while, but eventually they will stop responding and never work again.
