My 2240 has a hydraulic oil leak somewhere is around the pump in front. Any speculation as to what it might be and how difficult it might be to repair? I can?t physically see the leak. Fuel tank also leaks so I have to take that off anyway.

There's a LOT of stuff that can leak in that area.

If you can't tell what's leaking while "up close and personal" with it, it would be a pretty long shot for any of us to diagnose it remotely, unfortunately!

You're going to have to get it cleaned up, and have a CLOSER look, and, likely, have to look with the tank and some shielding removed, possibly rigging an auxiliary fuel tank so it can be started with the tank, etc. removed..

I agree with Bob but plastic pump seal drain line(keys 8 &/or 21) is a common place to check for leak.
