Working on a new to me 630 gas and was wondering what all needs changed on this diagram to put on a 12v one wire alternator. I know it changes from pos ground to neg ground
and this was installed when I got it but not working. I have not had the alternator checked yet because I wanna make sure its wired right first as I have already
straightened out many wiring issues on this Thanks in advance for any help.

Note the WHITE lead wire from the [b:654c4848f0]NEGATIVE[/b:654c4848f0] post on the ammeter to the [b:654c4848f0]BAT[/b:654c4848f0] terminal on the voltage regulator.

Connect the WHITE lead wire to the post on the alternator.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much. The red indicator light is the small one in the dash that comes on
when switch is turned on but goes out when running and alt is charging. Is there a way to wire that in?

Assuming you are using a Delco alternator, the red lamp may not work with a one wire alternator.

Get a 3 wire alternator. Output goes to ammeter. On the edge connector #2 can loop down to output. Connect one end of red lamp to #1 on alternator connector, other end of red lamp to ignition terminal on the switch
