Pony will run little bit then loses spark (going out to Brillman tomorrow) now the question, right side plug wire in top hole won't run put it in bottom hole pony starts and some what runs. Is- was the mag timed 180 off?

If it runs by switching the plug wire yep 180 off but it should not matter. My B is hat way and runs just fine yo just have the 2 plug wires on the way it runs and leave it be

to late now, boxed up to be shipped will make it right when I put it back.

Remember an R pony motor fires 1 cylinder each revolution instead of how a normal 2 cylinder John Deere fires.

R Mags also turn the opposite direction as the other mags do,so are not interchangeable.

Also (IIRC), mag turns at CAMSHAFT speed/1/2 engine speed vs. the more common CRANKSHAFT speed.
