1951 john deere b pto seal

question in the process of changing the shaft seal on the PTO of course oil drained out so in wanting to replace the lost oil,is the oil 90
wgt from the rear end or 30 wgt from the power trol unit. Just so I use the proper oil and check the level in the right place. Thanks in
advance for any help

30 weight from the Power Trol or whatever oil you're using in it.

so the oil comming out around the pto seal is the same as the power trol unit correct?

Yes, the last section of the pto shaft runs though the Power Trol oil reservoir.
