4430 Hydraulics Slow After Heating Up

I have 3 4430's, each with their own problems. My cabbed one that I run a 567 baler with is getting where it is very slow dumping bale after heating up. I checked standby pressure when I brought it home the other day and was only running about 1700 psi. I turned the stroke control screw in all the way and got it up to 2200. Went back to bale on Monday and worked ok until it heated up. Haven't checked pressure yet, but what does this sound like the problem is? Thanks ahead for all info!

I had an o ring fail in one of my remotes
causing the oil to get really hot. Could
touch it and which one it was. Much warmer
than the other. Maybe a leak making it heat
up?

You have a high pressure leak internally that caused oil to get hot and hydraulics slow . Start tractor cold and feel the hydraulics as it warms up. first valve box that gets hot is the cullprt . Don't forget the Rock shaft valve and steering valve .

Is this the same tractor that you were having issues with the hyd. temp. last week?

No. Different tractor. Cranked it up and ran it about 10 minutes today...that was all the time I had. Could not find anything heating up faster than normal. Will check again.

Depending on your level of skill & comfort in working with hyd. systems & given the fact that you have another tractor with hyd. issues you may want to consider rounding up a flowmeter to aid in your diagnosis.

A flowmeter installed in series directly after the main hyd. pump on either tractor will tell you immediately if you are dealing with high pressure internal leakage & if so, how much.

It can also be used to confirm the transmission pump / charge circuit condition.

Assuming that there is no high pressure internal leakage & that the transmission pump is good, it's possible there are issues with the stroke control valve on the pump. as you mentioned that the valve was adjusted all of the way just to achieve 2200 PSI......
