Just wondering who owns low hour 1972 4020's? I've got an original diesel syncro with 3600 hrs, but I'm sure there are others with lower hours. Just wondering.

I have a friend who has the last one his dealer sold. It has less than 2000 original hours and has never sat out side overnight. He was milking cows when he got it and the farm was sold so he quit and bought a 40 acre hobby farm and kept the 4020. It had a wide front when he bought it but he did not like that and went and got a new narrow front for it. The wide front is still in the shed with the tires on it. He even keeps blankets on the hood to protect the paint. It is stored in a garage with a concrete floor. I drove it to bale some hay for him ten years ago and it had 1400 hours then. It was as close to a new 4020 as I will ever drive. Tom

Not a 4020 but there is an early 4010 with around 2100 hrs on it at the state agency where I work. It's a gas tractor with no rockshaft. All that it has ever done is pull a woods mower.

Trying to remember how many hours were on the neighbor's 1972 4020 when he sold it in 1984. I know it did not have 2,000 hours on it and unfortunately I was flat broke in 1984 plus mom and dad were just as broke at the time.
