630 Power Steering Leak Somewhere

I have noticed a leak coming from somewhere in the front end of my 630 that is starting to coat both sides of the frame rail. Radiator was replaced three years ago and that looked dry on top and bottom. Took the grill off this morning and it looks like there is somewhere on the steering spindle that is leaking power steering oil. The spindle from top to bottom looks "damp" from oil. Is there something inside that spindle assembly (besides the gaskets) that would be failing that would cause a slow leak? At this point I wouldn't even know where to tell a repair guy to start fixing because nothing looks obvious. Definitely coming from in front of the radiator, and if I park the tractor on a slight grade and leave it for several days you can tell it is running back towards engine. Thanks

O'Reilly's sells a oil dye part #TP3090 dye lite leak detection dye. I have used it in a number of oil systems to find exactly where the leak is. I have a bottle of it right here on my desk

Agree with ET. . Have done several. If it's a tricycle it's a little more work if a wide front end the front end will hold up the tractor. May want to rebuild the pump while you are working on it. my 2 cents.

Are you telling us that you want to fix this problem yourself or just be able to take it to someone else and be able to tell them what needs fixed? Several on this board have dealt with this problem and can advise you on how to proceed.
