I bought this 1980 2240 a few years ago and never took the plugs out of the rear aux outlets. Took them out to pull a disc and can't seem to figure out what style coupler it has. Not 'new' universal style Pioneer, and the 'old style' Deere couplers I got today bottom out before the coupler contacts the detent balls. Picture shows plastic plug on left and what I'm calling new universal Pioneer style on the right.

Anyone know what I've got going on here?

To connect ""JD type male tips"" one needs the barrels in breakaway coupler slide toward the rear of tractor. Handle under breakaway coupler should be pointing rearward once male tip is connected turn handle 90° to allow oil flow.

The plug is Deere and the connector is Pioneer. They wont interchange.
You need tips like Tx Jim pic.
