JD 530 twine tie

I am currently baking with a JD 530 and have had pretty good luck with it. I sometimes have to tweak the hydraulic twine tie to get it to cycle. Does anyone know if you can convert the hydraulic twine tie to an electric actuator?

I would think one could convert a 530 to electric twine wrap BUT without later model monitor/wiring harness it wouldn't be an automatic wrap as one would need to control electric actuator manually.

What do you have to tweak on the hyd wrapping system?

Thanks for the reply.

The twine cycle sometimes gets "interrupted "for some reason and seems to get out of time. I have to sometimes manually trip the mechanism, by the pump, to get it to right itself. Just frustrating on a hot day and with hay on the ground.

When twine cycle gets interrupted where is twine tube located? Does twine tube stop on RH(facing rear of baler) side of baler?

Yes, it stops somewhere between halfway and all the way to the "drivers side"position.
