Dual hydraulics for a John Deere 60

In order to lift my new to me 6 row front mount cultivator, I needed to either hook up the lift cylinders up in series, or install dual hydraulics. I have lots of points rows. So I opted for the ability to lift each side individually. I haven’t had a chance to try it out, but I now have dual hydraulics, and it’s even a side console...

Tim coulda done it better.

For now, it’s plumbed into the powertrol just in case it doesn’t work. I’ll have to run the powertrol lever, then use the valves. If it works out, I’ll plumb it directly to the pressure and return lines

It's a good idea and the setup looks good but if you are raising the cultivator on the fly you might not get one side raised before you need to raise the other side unless you have really small fast acting cylinders on the cultivator.

Looks good - Keep us posted on how it works.

When you plumb to the pressure/return lines, don't forget to check your relief valve setting.

Some of those clamps (the red piece) were designed to grip the coupler release sleeve and make it a safety disconnect in case you became unhooked from the implement. I guess that particular clamp is not set up that way. I imagine that thought was important with the plows that used a trip hitch. That won't be an issue with your front mount cultivator.

Ha! Those clamps are off the side of a junked 1460 IH combine. They used to hold steel lines. I know what you mean though. These are not push/pull connectors.
