Traction Control/Draft control, first JD to have it ?

So to complete my research the 1953 John Deere 40 was the first "John Deere" tractor to have a Traction Control system.

Which Means it had a (system and or setting) that AUTOMATICLY lifted the hitch when it sense wheel slippage to transfer load and increase traction during deep tillage or plowing operations...

I am researching TRACTION CONTROL not a depth control, although sometimes they are combine...

More questions:

Was the "Traction-Trol" available on farm tractors ?

I believe the 801 was an industrial utility tractor.

Is the Traction-Trol the same as the Power-Trol rear hydraulic system ?

"Was the "Traction-Trol" available on farm tractors ?"
If you're talking about the 3 point hitch by that name, yes it was available from JD dealers. I don't
believe tractors came from the factory with them installed.

"I believe the 801 was an industrial utility tractor."
I don't think there ever was a JD 801 industrial tractor. The 801 hitch was one of three hitches (800,
800A, 801) sold in the early to mid 50's for use on model 50, 60, and 70 tractors to keep up with what
International offered at the time. Starting with the 520, 620 and 720 tractors a whole new 3 point hitch
was offered direct from the factory.

801 3pt hitch on a John Deere 60
