My 720 Diesel won't start

My 720 D with a pony motor won't start. It started and ran fine last year , but this year I started up the pony and let it warm up and engaged the diesel for 30 seconds without compression and then pushed the compression lever forward and gave it fuel and nothing. Last year she popped off immediately and started when I did this.

The first thing I did was bleed the lines and I saw a full stream come out of every bleed hole. Then I ran the diesel without compression for almost a min thinking the engine might be flooded, but when I added compression and gave her fuel, still nothing.

I have never worked on diesels, so I have no idea what to do next.

I bled them, but I did the first two in reverse order to what you show me. I started with the one on the clutch side first and then the flywheel side next, and the third one by the flywheel last. Would doing the first two in this reverse order cause it no to start?

If you don't have a service manual for the 720/730 diesels you should get one. The rack is under the cover that is on top of the cylinders. The injection pumps are under there. The rack is a rod under the pumps that moves with throttle/governor to control the amount of fuel being injected on the compression stroke. With cover off look down in there with a flashlight and have a helper move the throttle. The rod should move from one side to the other. The governor pushes it to the right and a spring on the other side pushes it back.
